Provide input on Merchandise Value In Partnership (VIP) programs and private label products.


The Merchandise Committee is comprised of six member representatives serving three year terms. In addition, NDC's Vice President of Marketing and Dental Programs and Dental Merchandise Programs Manager serve on the committee.


Members are asked to nominate individuals within their own company to serve on the Committee based on areas of expertise and willingness to accept time commitment.

Candidates are then reviewed with the sitting Committee, with consideration given to members of different size being represented, as well as regional representation. The Committee recommendation is then submitted to the Vice President of Marketing and Dental Programs for review and selection.


The Merchandise Committee meets two times per year for two days. In addition, each Committee member is assigned responsibility for 5-6 members, requiring regular phone contact prior to and after Committee meetings plus availability throughout the year to answer questions or to bring member concerns to the entire Committee.
